SCOTLAND ROSE ANDERSON: "Hi Jean, I've been a fan of Neil for over thirty years. I first saw him on a tv special, I think it was 1972, and I was well and truly hooked. At that time, it was difficult to get news of him, but I joined the fan club, and bought every record he made. He saw me through every hard time in my life. I finally got to see him in his last two concerts in Glasgow, 2005, and I certainly didn't expect to feel the way I did. He was incredible, and I fell in love all over again. I was on a high for weeks after them. I would love other fans to contact me. I am married with a grown up son and daughter, my husband isn't really a fan, but he likes to indulge me sometimes, by watching Neil videos, and even though I have driven him crazy, he admits Neil is great." SUE (surname to follow shortly)
"Hi, Have just found your sight - and would love to
get into contact with some like minded people. My hubby and I retired
March 2004 - so we have time on our hands, but we have both found now is
how on earth did we find time to work. Our daughter got married last year
and lives in London. We have 2 Siamese cats, whom apart from Neil, we are
passionate about. Hope to hear from someone soon? Sue".
ENGLAND IAN GRAHAM: Impressive is the word to describe Ian's collection, which includes 1000 singles, several hundred LPs, over 200 CDs, books, concert tickets, tour jackets, the obscure, the more obscure, even guitar picks and drum sticks - you name it - Ian even owns one of Neil's 1980's concert shirts! Favourite Neil songs: 1) I Am...I Said ... 2) Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show. 3) If You Know What I Mean. The 2001 USA trip to see Neil's shows in Chicago & NYC, plus the UK segment 2002, and then the Las Vegas tour at Christmas also in 2002, has taken Ian's total number of shows to 138 Worldwide. Since his first double dose at the Royal Festival Hall in 1971, his travels have taken him to Los Angeles to visit the Greek Theatre in 1976 & 86, and The Forum, Chicago, The Cow Palace in San Francisco, MSG in NYC, Albany, Minneapolis, Toronto, Ottowa, Hamilton, Montreal, Germany, Holland, Ireland (several times), and all over the UK.
Ian is in his 40s, and lives in Surrey with his wife
Jenny and two cats,
ENGLAND STEVE BARRON: Steve is single, in his mid-30s and lives in the Greater London area. He tells me that he has been a Neil Diamond fan since 1975 when he first heard "Hot August Night". And, has been to many concerts in England, joining early morning queues for tickets, catching his first ND concert in 1984. Looking back, Steve says that at the age of four or five years old, one of his favourite songs was, "I'm A Believer" but at that time he didn't know of its writer. If he is pushed for an answer now as to which is his all time favourite song, then he says it has to be: Cherry Cherry, especially on the live album: HOT AUGUST NIGHT. In his collection is a number of BANG vinyls as well as rare MCA material. His favourite album overall, is HAN, and studio favourites are: The Jazz Singer, and Beautiful Noise. Also into New Country music he is a big fan of the album: Tennessee Moon. [Editors note: this is on the list of my favourite albums too, Steve.] Please contact Steve on the number below:
ENGLAND CAREY: Carey lives in the county of Essex, and tells me that she has been a Neil-fan for 24 years or so. Many or her albums have seen better days, and she had a disaster: her two picture discs suffered at the paws of a friend's puppy that Carey was babysitting. [Editor's note: Ouch! Carey, you should have put them in a cupboard, but it's easy to be wise after the event JB.] Carey can be reached on: careythurgood@blueyonder.co.uk

Brian and Iris reside in Tyne & Wear, have been Neil Diamond fans for over 30 years - and have followed Neil's career with interest. They have been to many concerts in the UK to date, and say that the two fairly recent performances in Newcastle [99], where brilliant and without a doubt the best they have seen. Looking forward to NDRRT returning to the UK. [We'll all be there to see Neil and the Band in the not to be missed concerts, Brian and Iris, wherever/whenever, JB] E-mail number for Brian and Iris:

CATHY, ALEX, The Paterson family live in Leeds, and have been Neil Diamond fans for years. They have seen Neil in concert 3 times, and tell me that young Natalie must be one of Neil's youngest fans. She used to watch The Jazz Singer movie when she was 3 years old and called it "The Neil and Molly Show." [I like that, Cathy, thanks for telling me about it, it's really cute!] Cathy, Alex and Natalie can all be reached on the same e-mail number: rainwater@rainwater.demon.co.uk
SCOTLAND CAROL McCULLUM "I have been a fan since1970 when I first heard Cracklin' Rosie and then my Nana bought me Sweet Caroline. I have seen Neil twice in concert, once in Birmingham in 1992 and then on 20th Feb 1999 at SSEC Glasgow, both shows were absolutely AWESOME!!! At the moment I am trying to write a poem about Neil. I hope it won't be long before Neil comes back to this country so we can all see him again. I have a lot of vinyl albums, CDs, tapes and vinyl singles, and videos. I also have concert tickets and programmes and recently purchased a jigsaw of 20th Century music which contains a lot of different musical artists especially our beloved Neil, I plan to put the jigsaw together and then mount it in a frame. It is just so good to 'talk' to fans who feel the same!" Carol is new to the Internet and would love to hear from other Neil Diamond fans, please write to her at the address below:
England "Ive been a fan of Neil's for about 12 years now and have the gift of being able to sing exactly like him. I am currently (January 2002) setting up to do a UK tribute and go into the studio soon to do a tribute album. I have searched the web for excellent quality backing tracks and have found some gems such as Teach Me Tonight/Golden Slumbers Medley from the Greatest Hits Live Video and I Dreamed A Dream from H.A.Night2 which I'm including on the album. I've also had a replica of the jacket (made in Thailand), that Neil wore on the video. And, a couple of sequinned shirts which look great on stage. I hope to have the album completed by the end of Jan/early Feb, 2002 (fingers crossed)" e-mail number for Darren:
